OXFORD PENNANT – New Greenpointers

Part of our new series focusing on our local Brooklyn neighborhood and Upstate NY the new Greenpointers flag is this seasons favorite and an ode to the very strange fact half the store is in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, and the other half is in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Oxford Pennant was founded in 2013 when two guys met on a business trip, bonded over the nostalgia and ingenuity of pennants and became instant friends. Brett Mikoll and Dave Horesh, Co-founders at Oxford Pennant, recognized that pennants had once been revered as icon keepsakes for over a century but had largely become cheap, low-quality souvenirs produced overseas with synthetic materials.
